Abstract
All organizations' goal of using information systems is to increase productivity and efficiency. Activity in today's competitive and changing environment has created the need to find and take advantage of new and efficient ways to gain information. In this regard, information systems must be tailored to the new needs. Accordingly, the aim of this paper is to examine the status of accounting information systems (AIS) from the perspective of public and private managers in Ardebil, which has been carried out based on a questionnaire. Eighty questionnaires of public managers and 70 questionnaires of private managers were complete and acceptable, which were analyzed using independent t-test through SPSS software. The findings suggest that the importance of AIS is higher in the view of private managers than in the view of public managers.
